So shouldn't it be 1/2 x 1/4
I think that 1/2 of females who use internet includes coffee shop and:

F/2 = F/4 + (females use use from other place)

F/4 is from coffee shop

Though C looks straight forward, wanted to know why B is not correct.

Hello everyone, I am currently facing difficulty with Critical Reasoning, especially in identifying assumptions and applying pre-thinking strategies. I would really appreciate it if you could suggest reliable study materials or resources that not only help build a strong understanding of CR concepts but also provide effective tips and tricks to solve questions more accurately and efficiently.
Thanks.

I faced similar problem in the beginning. All seemed like correct answer to me. So a friend of mine suggested to start thinking like a lawyer and nitpick on words... apart from that negation technique, extreme test technique all this helped.

Hi Garima25, there are quite a bit of CR resources that have been mentioned in GMAT Club. For books, the usual recommendation would be either Manhattan Prep or PowerScore:

best-gmat-verbal-books-217254.html

For free videos, GMAT Ninja’s series on Youtube are highly acclaimed, as well as his CR guide:

experts-topic-of-the-week-6-19-17-ultimate-cr-guide-for-beginners-243170.html

For online programs, I’ve heard that e-GMAT is good for Verbal. I haven’t used it myself, but you can check their reviews.

+1 to that mindset... I try to find the assumption while I read and when I check the answer I pay extra focus to the words used in the sentence

Understand the premise and restate those premise in you word that will support the conclusion and just don't make restate same take an idea think about what else based on that premise he can support conclusion
