While other contributors here have made some good points, I have noticed that a number of members state that the test questions are a bit too easy. However, the test itself is strict in terms of how many you answer incorrectly. A few wrong answer choices, then, can result in an unexpected low score for some.

Yea, this seems pretty off in comparison to the GMAC algorithm... check the suggested link above, it explains it as best as one can, the actual GMAC algorithm is pretty complicated, and I don't think anyone has a 100% picture of it..

I did I did! Even the score calculator says 660. I got 650 on Knewton too, with almost the same break up scores if I recall correctly. Even then I remember complaining about the algorithm. May be I should stop complaining now and re-consider my test taking strategy.

Strange indeed. Seems like it should be a bit higher... Good news though, you could make huge gains with just a few clicks up from your current verbal :P

I tried the Princeton review test yesterday. The quant section was really a joke. Verbal section was no better. Almost all the SC and CR questions were 2 liners. Had a horrible experience with the test.
