Hello,
I have just taken my GMAT yesterday
I had 710 which I am very happy about, I am applying for France schools HEC, ESSEC, ESCP and LBS, INSEAD.
Verbal: 42 (percentile 96)
Quant 45 (percentile 54)
and I thought I did badly during the exam, I didn't really do the IR part and I got 2 in Integrated Reasoning (percentile 9)
However, usually, I score very high in Quant and low in verbal so I was really surprised.
I was wondering if for the top school the overall 710 would be enough, or if the only average, not so good score in maths, added with the really bad IR, could be bad for my application?

Hey congratulations on your fantastic score. Your score definitely makes you eligible for all the colleges that you have listed. However, getting a select from one of these schools will depend on more than just your GMAT score. Your overall profile and your clarity of vision that you will present in your essays will also have a significant role to play. About your low math and IR score: Can you in some other way, either through your college course or any certificate course, present your strength in these areas. If not, I suggest working on those fronts from now on. All the best with your preparation and congratulations again.

This is Kate from mbaMission. I think your overall score is in a strong position for most of those schools, and I agree with the other poster that it does depend on what quantitative background you have otherwise.
Of you list, INSEAD will likely be most selective since they do offer the following guidance on their website:
While we do not have a minimum score required for admission, we advise candidates to aim for a score at or above the 70th-75th percentile for both the quantitative and verbal sections of the GMAT. For the Integrated Reasoning section, we recommend achieving a score of 6 or above.
If you're able to retake once more before applying, I would give it another shot to see if you can raise Quant / IR.
