You're targeting the right range (Wharton is a stretch, and the other schools are sweet spots; if you want safeties, maybe the Canadian schools like Ivey or Rotman).

Also, don't let b-school affect your career choices now. Do what is best for you, rather than worrying about what b-school adcoms think (i.e. b-school isn't worth changing your life in the interim). If starting your own biz is what you really want to do, then go for it. I'm sure you have good reasons for it.

Any other Top US Schools that I should consider? Schools that are known to focus on Entrepreneurship & Strategy towards Energy/Green Products?

As well, when would be the best or earliest time I could start the application process with you and your team?

Swap out Wharton for Sloan -- it's a little easier to get into, and more important probably more suited for what you want.

At this point, there's not much to do until the applications come out in May/June. If you can, go and visit a couple of b-schools while class is still in session (basically you have April to do this) to get a feel for what a top b-school environment is like - it's not about brownie points with the adcom, but more for your own understanding -- you'll get a far better understanding for what b-school is really about and where you stand by actually stepping foot on a few schools (it doesn't matter which ones - just 2-3 is fine) than any info you can find on the internet.
