Hi there,
Thanks for your post and for all the info you shared here. So you're interested in the STEM MBA Rochester option; is that in part due to work visa opportunities after the MBA? Rochester was the first to offer that type of program just in the past year, and beyond that many programs offer specializations within the MBA that can qualify for that STEM designation too.. (can look at Duke, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and UConn for example), though of course data science is also increasingly becoming a part of all MBA programs. In any case, your current international work in the Dominican Republic is memorable and a plus, but it will also be critical to show your leadership experiences and impact and accomplishments you've made, examples of initiative etc. The GMAT will still be important for you so I do suggest preparing for 2-3 months, taking from 6-10 practice tests along the way, and consider taking it multiple times if needed. Feel free to check back here or contact us for a free consultation (http://www.mbamission.com/consult) as you get further along in the process or have a GMAT score to work with, and good luck to you in the process.

Hi Sanya,
Your profile is a bit less typical, but that can actually help you be remembered... it does make it even more important that you make it clear WHY you feel you need the MBA, fyi. Not sure if your preference is US or European or other schools? There are more 1 year options in Europe than in the US; for INSEAD, it could be tough but not impossible, not sure why you've said R2 unless you mean Jan entry, as there is plenty of time for R1 still? Without knowing your full story and seeing your resume etc, I'd cautiously say you could look at options like Judge, Said, Imperial, HEC, Bocconi for example? Good luck to you!
