Hello everybody,I'm Lorenzo, from Italy, actually I'm attending my last year of my bachelor program at Bocconi University. I expect to take a Mim in Europe next year. Universities I'm looking at: ESSEC, IE, EDHEC, INSEAD, Rotterdam, Copenaghen, ESCP

My profile:

Nationality: Italian

GPA: 24/30, 3,2/4

University reputation: Bocconi University is the best in my country and one of the best in Europe and over the world

High School: Attended classical high school, main courses: ancient greek, latin, mathematics, physics, literature

Exchange experience: Exchange student in Australia during high school

IELTS: 7.5

GMAT: Actually I've to take it, how much do you think would be a sufficient result to keep?

Extracurricular activities:

Delegate of European Youth Parliament National Session as a result of a tough selection

Organizer of European Youth Parliament Regional Session in Milan, more than 80 participants fron all Euro area

Main host of a radio program at Bocconi

Member of Bocconi literature association

Bocconi class representative, representing more than 120 students

Bocconi student ambassador

Passions: Music, books, cinema and running marathons

Hey Lorenzoabbate,

Based on your background and academic achievements, it seems like you have a strong foundation for applying to graduate business programs. It would be beneficial to highlight any internships or work experience you have, as this can make a significant impact on your application. If you do not have any, consider gaining some work experience.

Additionally, it is important to highlight your extracurricular activities and organisational leadership skills, as this can demonstrate your ability to lead and manage people.

Furthermore, any additional courses you have taken, such as business courses on Udemy or Coursera, and if you are a CFA level one candidate, can also strengthen your application.

A good GMAT score, such as 700 or higher, is also an asset for your target schools. Rotterdam INSEAD, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, and IE are considered competitive schools and having a quantified experience and extracurricular activities will give you an edge. It is important to quantify your experience and extracurricular activities to make your application stand out.

I think your profile is great and suitably a fit for your target schools. Flawless essays and a good GMAT would surely help you make it to these Unis.

A good GMAT score can be anywhere in range of 650-700 for ESSEC, LBS, EDHEC, ESCP.

A good boost is the international experience you have so focus on promoting it.
