Hello there Jason,
So first of all, wicked GMAT!!! That is the single best thing you could have done to PROVE that you are one clever dude, and make up for the woeful GPA (sorry!) :).
Your work experience is pretty darn good too (diverse, international, interesting), the CFA thing is okay, but really wont count for much until you have your level 3s.
I would say Top 5 would be a real challenge because of your GPA (although you might want to try your one favorite) and then for the rest of the Top 20, with a good application, you should be able to pull some admits.

Thank you Jon
Just wondering, which programs do you consider a Top 5? GSB, HBS, Wharton...
But are Haas, Tuck, LBS top 5? How about Booth, Duke, Columbia, kellogg.
I guess what I mean is, which 5 would you apply for if you were in my shoes.
I would like to know which 5 you would advise, sorry there are so many good schools it is confusing.

nice website admissionado (dot) com i am having a look :) i might speak to a rep.

Yep, H/S/W for sure. Other schools that put a huge emphasis on grades too: Booth, MIT, LBS...

I mean you could try for them... but your school list should be made as a whole meaning add more tough schools if you have enough safe schools... why not? (all it means is more essay writing for you? And more time typing away :)

Best,
JF
