vishal_gupta INTERESTING PROFILE. I would highly recommend you check out my write up on
Military/Navy Veterans, Engineers, SCM Mgrs, PSU Folks- Goals Strategy : Ross (gmatclub.com) to understand what post MBA opportunities could align with your skills and aspirations.
In terms of target schools in India you should look at ISB, IIM A PGPX, IIMB and C.
ISB could be a tough nut to crack if you dont create a solid strategy to make you stand out from several other PSU profiles that will apply. I also suggest that you take the interview prep for IIM A PGPX very seriously as you may have the best chances of converting the admit if you prepare well. I have written extensively about the IIM A PGPX interviews. You can read about them here.
Let me know if you are open to the idea of applying abroad (specifically the geographies) and I can suggest some target MBA programs. You can check out McCombs and Kenan Flagler specifically if you want to build your career in the energy sector. In the EU you may consider HEC Paris and IMD.
