Hello Sarthak,
Your profile shows strong potential for IESE, especially with 4 years of solid experience in analytics across both startup and MNC environments like SAP. Your ongoing pro bono consulting work also highlights leadership and impact beyond the workplace, which IESE values.
That said, a GMAT Focus score of 655 is slightly below IESE’s average, so a retake could strengthen your application. However, if the rest of your profile — especially your essays and recommendations — are compelling, you still stand a good chance.
I’d also recommend confirming your official score, as the percentile might’ve been misread.
For guidance, I reached out to

Hi everyone,I’m considering applying to the IESE MBA (2026 intake) and wanted to get some feedback on my profile. I’m an Indian male with:- GMAT score: 655 (93rd percentile)
- Work Experience: 4 years in analytics, split between a startup and a multinational (SAP)
- Volunteer Work: I’ve been working as a pro bono consultant for the past 2 years, helping NGOs
I haven’t received my official score report yet, but I remember seeing 655 and 93rd percentile on the test screen. However, this doesn’t seem to align with the GMAT Focus Edition percentile calculator, so there’s a chance I may have misread it.Would appreciate any insights on whether this profile is competitive for IESE. My mock scores were 655-675Thanks in advance!
