I’m considering applying to the IESE MBA (2026 intake) and wanted to get some feedback on my profile. I’m an Indian male with:
- GMAT score: 655 (93rd percentile)
- Work Experience: 4 years in analytics, split between a startup and a multinational (SAP)
- Volunteer Work: I’ve been working as a pro bono consultant for the past 2 years, helping NGOs
Would appreciate any insights on whether this profile is competitive for IESE. My mock scores were 655-675

That said, a GMAT Focus score of 655 is slightly below IESE’s average, so a retake could strengthen your application. However, if the rest of your profile — especially your essays and recommendations — are compelling, you still stand a good chance.

- What was the sectional split of your GMAT score?
- On the professional front, was the start-up stint pre or post SAP, and what was the nature of your roles? Were there any progression/ promotions?
- What are your directional career goals post MBA?
Broadly, given that the Indian Male demographic is very competitive, try to improve the score if possible - this would help strengthen chances at IESE/ HEC.
