Hi abhisekmohanty86! Thanks for reaching out! The good news is that you've got some solid work experience with great career progression and some leadership roles. The challenges will be your age & GMAT. As you probably know, you are coming from the toughest demographic when it comes to b-school apps and it's also a demographic that tends to have very high GMAT scores (740+). If there's any chance at all of improving your score I'd give it a shot. Most US b-schools are also looking for applicants with 3-5 years of work experience upon matriculation, so given that you'll be at 7+ years you'll be quite a bit above the average, which can be a challenge in your candidacy. When you get too "old" they start to worry that you no longer need the degree. European schools skew a bit older so I'd focus there & aim for schools in the range of Oxford. If you do want to apply to US schools and are unable to improve that 700 score I'd aim for schools in the 25-40 range (we use US News & World Report rankings).
