Hi, requesting for profile evaluation for ISB 2017 intake.
Work Ex: 2 years as an Assistant Manager in First Smart City
GMAT: yet to be taken
Extra Curricular: Working in an NGO, handling technical stuff of blog (website)
One thing more passed class X with French as one of the main subjects instead of Hindi.
What score should I achieve in GMAT? and What are my chances for selection?
- Class X: 77 %
Class XII: 77 %
B.Tech (Biotechnology): 77 %
M.Tech (Environmental Engineering): 8.60 (CGPA)

dude i was rejected at 730 without interview at isb and my friend got in at 680. he could not even fetch a single interview call from any us b school because of his gmat and i converted 6 out of 9 us b schools i applied eventually. so it all depends at 700+ u should be safe atleast in terms of score. you cannot predict anything in isb selection process. they are simply weird, especially very tough for indian IT males with 2-5 years work-ex working in IT service companies. so make sure your essays are good and score preferably 700+ and u should fetch an interview call.

Hi Abhinav,
We assume ( from whatever you have mentioned about your work ex) that it is not IT related. Correct us if we interpreted it wrong.
2 yrs of work ex is less ( by mar next yr it will still be less than 3 yrs) and it is very tough to crack ISB ( EEO is a separate pool which you are not eligible for).
Your extra currics are also weak. So, you will have to see what you can do on that front.
Ideally, we would recommend that you wait for an year and then apply for 2018 intake. But still if you want to apply this year target a 730+ on GMAT. Given that you work ex duration is less you will have to outscore others somewhere to stand a chance.
