Hi
NCC ! Thanks for reaching out to Stratus. Happy to evaluate your profile.
A question up front - you want to apply for fall 2023 but still want to improve your profile in the next 1.5 years? The only time period you need to worry about improving your profile through is now through submitting your applications. So, the window is much shorter than 1.5 years. Probably more like a month or 2, if your'e targeting R2.
Your work experience # years is solidly in the median range for the schools you are targeting, your extracurriculars are interesting (congrats on the adventure races!), and
Wharton has a Dance Studio club that would love your dancing skills, but I haven't seen them be too lenient on low GMAT scores that don't have high IR scores. Have you considered retaking the test, and/or waiting another year? ISB also feels like a stretch for your profile. But if you had a good spread of reach/target/safety schools, and a good handle on your storytelling to connect the dots for your short and long term goals, I think you could get into somewhere in the top 25 this year--schools like McDonough or Marshall.
Storytelling is often the biggest reason folks reach out to consultants, we do this every day with our clients. If you want to reach out for a free consult, I or anyone on our Stratus team would be glad to explain more about the steps you should be taking to get to your best applications! I see some great, unique elements in your profile. Connecting the dots of your past and where you want to go in your future will determine how much the AdCom want to invest in that story.
