Hi,
I am a 23 year old Indian Male looking to join a B-School in 2015. I will be having 2 years of experience at matriculation. I graduated from a college ranked in Top 30 Engineering colleges of India and got a GPA of 7.71 (relative grading with the topper getting 9.6). I am a Computer Science graduate working in a leading company based in Palo Alto. They are leaders in the GRC(Governance, Risk and Compliance) domain and I am currently working in Bangalore.
GMAT Score:740
I have been working as a Software Developer in the Product Delivery department for a multi billion dollar client. They are the one of the biggest airline companies in the world. I have been consistently interacting with clients, building project requirements, designing technical documents and delivering quality products. I have obtained a very good appraisal from my managers and have been consistently lauded for the successful delivery of my modules.
I have shown consistent leadership skills even though I joined as a fresher and I am certain of getting at least 2 good recommendations from my seniors here.
I am a State scholar in the National Talent Search Examination. I have won various Quiz competitions at school and college level. I have organized many events and was the Quiz master in a national level Science Quiz organized by my college. I have won honorary awards in Hackathons and I have won various awards in multiple cultural and co curricular events.
I have interned at 2 companies for 2 months each when I was at college.
I wanted to know whether I can get into one of the top 50 colleges in the 2014 Financial Times rankings. My preferences are:
1. Tepper
2. Georgia Tech since I am interested in Tech Management.
3. Goizueta
4. Kelley
5. NUS Singapore/ Nanyang Singapore
I can provide more information if needed. I need to know whether I can successfully get into one of these colleges with my GPA, GMAT and experience(which is on the lower side).
I am concerned since I fall into the demographic of the "Indian IT Male " and competition is much higher.

Hey there dude,
Well, although you are right that being in the Indian/Male/IT category, things will be harder, you DO have that 740!!! Which is awesome and not to be underestimated. If you can make an awesome, passionate, unique application it will bring you a lot farther that you think you might be able to go. As you can imagine, given the applicant pool you are coming from, the toughest part for Adcoms is to differentiate between the candidates. Okay for Top 10 schools, they mostly pull folks from IIT, or folks with obviously amazing achievements (founded an NGO, a firm, lots of patents, a political career, etc.), but for us 'regular folks' applying to non-Top-10 schools, things are harder. And that is why it is absolutely CAPITAL that you stand out!
You've got to find a way to go beyond "Im an Indian techie who did some quiz stuff and played cricket and taught children". And the FIRST step to doing that is in YOU. To THINK about yourself differently. And then this will help you PRESENT yourself differently. Get my drift?
Your school list might be good, might be ambitious. It depends a bit more on what other cards you got up your sleeve.

I was more apprehensive about my GPA and my work experience. I will be prepared to showcase some unique abilities and achievements of mine in the applications but would they be enough to warrant an interview from the above mentioned schools?
Also if I add Univ of Texas-McCombs and Rotman, do I stand to have a chance of atleast considering them as Target schools if not as safe schools?
I do have a few things up my sleeve for the application
