Hey Jitendra,
Well the good news is that you have an awesome amount of leadership! And this should really really help you boost your profile, even if it is an In dian/Male/IT one :). If you can beat a 720, you will have a good shot at Top 20 schools, although Top 5 will be very very tough.

So make sure you kill that GMAT!!!!
:)

In the meanwhile, here are a few posts for you that are relevant to you applying as an Indian candidate, and that you might find helpful:

And then there was Walter, our Indian applicant who blogged for us. You can follow the full history of it here: https://admissionado.com/?s=Walter&submit.x=-1054&submit.y=-47&lang=en

Hope this helps!
Best,
Jon

Hi Jon,

Glad to see your response. Your inputs certainly make me more confident and guide me to deliver my best at GMAT. I have been preparing hard for GMAT and am putting my tear and toil to break that 700+ mark.

I will be writing GMAT in January and soon after that will get in touch for shortlisting schools and getting started with application process. I am planning to apply to R1 in most of the schools I am targeting in order to have better chances with the scholarships.

Excellent. Right now don't yet worry about schools or whatever. You have to concentrate on your test. But once you do get your scores, just drop a line and we can try and get into more detail and think through your list together.

Best,
Jon
