Gave my GMAT recently, well I gave it today, and I'm kinda disappointed with my scores. I may retake the test again in March, but I parallely want to understand where I'm at right now in terms of my chances.
Basics: 27, Indian Male (Non-engineering and non-techie),
GMAT: 650 (V34, Q46)
Education: Chartered Accountant (Got my license in 2017) and B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University with a CGPA of 5-6 (not sure since I my marks were in %). 10th and 12th were 86% and 79% respectively.
Work Experience - Interned for 2 years with a top 10 professional services firm in North India between 2013 and 2015; Working with PwC India in their Transfer Pricing (Tax) line of service since April 2017. Was promoted in 2019; Received consistently positive appraisals (top 2 performance ratings). Handling close to 30% of Partner's turnover. Worked on one of the largest bilateral APA for the Indian subsidiary of a UK based group through which we achieved tax certainty for the Company for 5 future years; In general worked for clients based out of UK, US, Japan, Switzerland, Germany etc; Lead relationship on several of my accounts where I'm responsible for not only managing the day-to-day matters but also to develop the account for the firm; Received multiple client appreciation awards during my stint at PwC.
Extra Curriculars / Volunteering - Played Table Tennis upto zonal levels during school days; Love trekking. Have gone on professional treks and plan on doing more as the overhang of GMAT leaves my mental space
. Part of Steering Committee at PwC India, Transfer Pricing where I was responsible for receiving feedback from people on the floor, developing and executing programmes to increase the connect between leadership and practice employees.
Target Schools - IE, ISADE, SDA Bocconi. All for intake 2021.
