RZZPrivate:
Thank you for reaching out!
Could you advise on business schools in the US that would be a good fit (i.e., reaches, targets, safeties).
Currently, my top choices are Cornell Johnson and UCLA Anderson. Would you consider these feasible options?
A: Yes, those two schools are feasible options. If you are interested in management consulting you considering starting with the following in forming your list:
Duke Fuqua (Reach)
Dartmouth Tuck (Reach)
Darden (Target)
UCLA Anderson (Target)
Cornell Johnson (Target)
Indiana Kelley (Safety)
Emory Goizueta (Safety)
Also, any advice you can give on what I can do to add to my profile to increase my chances of getting into a top school (i.e., take online quantitative courses, retake GMAT etc.) would be great considering I have some time before I start applying.
A: I am concerned about your years of experience. When are you actually applying? You say you have time, but are we talking a year or months (say, for Round 2)? If the latter, it will be hard to get into with only the two years under your belt by the time you matriculate. It also would not hurt to retake the exam. A 700 is a fantastic score but adding at least 20-30 points could only help.
