A: Yes, give it a go. Your ceiling is high, so if you can do a little prep and retake the exam it would be worth it. You don't have to submit the score(s) if you don't do well.
While you have an interesting profile, your school list is quite aggressive. We're not saying you're not a candidate or won't get a look, but you are pretty much just targeting the top schools in the US. I would pick several of your favorites and potentially add a few lower-ranked schools to hedge appropriately. Being 30 is not a disqualifier, but if you get swept out of these schools you are going to need to apply next year and that will start becoming more difficult.
