ak_shayla and prateekchugh,

Hope you have done your research.
Although avg. yrs of WE for top EMBA programs is 12 and 13 and 14, you may apply with 10 yrs of experience as well.
Do NOT underestimate EMBA. It has huge advantages of its own - getting a degree without giving up job would take of much of the financial burdon, which usually offsets the gains from MBA degree.
Moreover, your profile is so strong, your chances of getting into top business schiools are high.
On the other hand for a full time MBA see your chances with respect to trends:

prateekchugh,
I would suggest you too should think on these lines.

TheGraceful,

Thanks for providing links for FT MBA admission trends.
I haven't yet enrolled for any program. I am tilting more towards a FT MBA but trying to weigh all my options here.

prateekchugh,

Hey, fellow applicant! Thanks for your reply.
Good luck to you too.

Hi ak_shayla,
Thanks for posting your profile. With 8 years of solid work experience, you would be an excellent candidate for programs tailored for mid-career professionals, such as the Part time MBA, or 1-year MBA programs, eg. Stanford MSx, MIT Sloan Fellows, Kellogg 1-yr, Cornell 1-yr. Have you looked into these programs?

Like the 2-yr programs, Part-time programs offer a robust business education, but are more geared towards mid-career professionals not looking to make a full pivot into a new industry. Similarly the 1-year programs give you a strong business education but without the summer internship. If you're looking to become a Product Manager in Tech (to leverage your technical background), these programs could be a good fit for you. Do look into these!

Wishing you the best in your MBA journey.

Sincerely,
Debbie
