Hi
ruchik,
Thank you for sharing your profile. Starting with stats, your undergrad scores are good. You didn’t mention your GMAT score here, but assuming it to be 730, it’s good. On the work front, I can see some leadership experience that will help you demonstrate your leadership qualities. You will also need to highlight your professional growth and the impact you have had over the last ten years. Your work experience is straightforward in one industry, and I believe it can show every value and attribute that b-schools require.
Talking about your ECs, they are interesting, and talking about all of these things with the right passion can add diversity to your profile. Your post-MBA goals seem logical, but they need to be elaborated out much more. Also, attempt to divide it into short-term and long-term goals. The narrative you present in your post MBA goals essay must demonstrate your aim and short-term and long-term goals after MBA in a logical way that is consistent with your current professional path and how the school may put you. Being an older applicant, b-school expects you to be clear about your goals. The b-schools you have targeted are good also, Judge, INSEAD, HEC, and NUS encourage older applicants. You may want to read an article on
MBA over 30, you will get some insights.
Overall a good profile and a shot at b-schools. You will need to give a plausible reason for doing an MBA at this age and how MBA will help you fill gaps in your profile. I would like to know more about your work profile (such as roles & responsibilities, impact, and career progression) to evaluate your chances better. If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to b-schools. Feel free to
book a free session with us as per your convenience.
Cheers!
