Hi
ruchik. I like your leadership at a name brand global employer, and your goals seem reasonable. Have you reached out to the 1-year programs? Sometimes they may have some coursework requirements - I know Kellogg does, for example. I think Cornell has just an advanced degree requirement, but you can reach out via an eligibility check. If you look at the class profiles, you can see that your age and experience level are above the mean (80th percentile range is 0-9 years of WE at Cornell's 1-year, for example, putting anyone over 9 years in the outer edge) -- so that will increase the risk factor, but sometimes you can talk to the ad com via the eligibility checks and they can give you more color on your fit for the program...and if you articulate why now, you might be able to make it. My impression is that the tech programs skew even a bit younger and I'm not sure whether those are a fit for your experience level since you have quite a bit of tech leadership already, though not necessarily in your target area. You're probably a better fit for Stanford's MSX program, but it's Stanford, so highly competitive. Have you thought about USC's I Bear program? That's another full time mid career option. Looks like you're also trying Sloan Fellows, that's another one (or the one at LBS) but also competitive. I do think the window is closing on some of these programs for you, though, so what I would do is reach out to the 1-years to check eligibility and if they give you the green light, give it your best shot in the earliest round you can. If you don't make it, you are indeed probably looking at EMBAs or trying again at MIT SF/GSB MSX. Good luck!
Warmly,
