Hi ,
Well Like a lot of students , I too face a lot of confusion and dilemma with plans to study in US . Your any advice or opinions would be immensely helpful , since as an asian applicant we only have rankings and internet data to judge universities , where as you have a real time idea of universities and possibilities in US .
A brief about my profile :
GMAT - 680 ( 49 , 33 )
TOEFL - taking on 18th Oct
Undergrad - BA economics ( Hons) -Delhi University - equivalent GPA - 3.5
I have no social work ex but lot of initiatives and extra co curricular activities at work and college level .
Work ex - American express - Risk and fraud analyst . Total work ex of 2.5 Years with 3 promotions in two years . Also promoted to a leadership role where I managed a team of 8 people for 6 months . I quit in april for GMAT and then moved out of my workplace and shifted with my parents . I am currently pursuing some programming courses here and working on my applications .
Course target - Msc Business analytics
Colleges targets :
USC marshall school of Business - University of SC
College of Business admin - University of Tennessee
Mccormick school - Northwestern University
lally school of management - University of san Francisco
Linder school of Business - University of Cincinnati
lebrow college of business - Drexel University
Well these are the colleges which are ok with 15 years of education and have MSc business analytics course . I need your help and advice - what we be your order of preference for these universities as your local and professional knowledge - also keeping in mind my profile - if any other colleges , that you could suggest that i may have missed out .
I really appreciate any advice/ help . I understand my questions may not be pertaining MBA but anyhow what you feel about these universities could give me a good idea because i hear a lot of people saying dont go to state universities or private schools etc , hence the confusion .
thanks & regards ,
Prateek.
