Hi,
I am an engineering graduate. I graduated in 2012 . I was working with hedge funds and boutique trading firm (appx 40 months) but now I am unemployed from march 2016. I was initially trying to register for semester in September but couldn't do it because of financial constraints. Now I am unemployed . If I try for September 2017 intake I will end up with more than a year of gap. What can I do ? Please help!
Regards,

Hi Abhihaan
Here is what you should try and do:
- Try and get back in a job as soon as possible. While a few months off between jobs is acceptable, a larger gap will weigh negatively on your applications.
- Hedge funds and trading work sounds pretty good and is certainly not the component of an average profile. Provided you can do well on the GMAT, you should have a decent shot at some good schools
Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed.
