GMAT 740
Undergrad NIT, GPA 6.81/10
MBA from IIM, GPA 6.35/10
Total Work Ex - 9.5 Years , 8 years in Oil & Gas (Public Sector) in Business Development , 1.5 Years in Construction
Recieved 3 fast track promotions in last 7 years . Strong Recommenders. No international Experience
I am looking forward to a second MBA with a global exposure to enable me to work across geographies.
Geography : Preferably U.S. since my family has already relocated there. But I am open to Europe as a backup option.
Post MBA : Jobs in Energy/Sustainability in the short term; Entreprenuership in the long term
Scholarship : Not a must have
Can you help me find the right fit school for my profile ? I am open to 2Y and 1Y MBAs in both U.S. & Europe.

Hi jasmeetsingh0790, thanks for reaching out. You've got a great GMAT and fast progression in your work. Your post-MBA goals also seem attainable with your experience.
Doing a second MBA presents some complications with the admissions process. Thus, you'll want to verify early on that your target schools accept second MBA candidates. A 1Y MBA is a really good option for you. In the US, look at Kellogg, Columbia (the J-Term program is 18-mos), Duke, USC, and Emory. There are more 1Y options in Europe like INSEAD, Cambridge, and IE.

Is there a way we can get over a phone call/VC to discuss this further ? I had applied to some of the schools mentioned in your list but couldn't even manage an interview invite. Some of the shortcoming in my profile:
1. Not so great GPAs
2. Age 33
3. Oil & Gas experience in India. I got the feedback from another consultant that since U.S. O&G firms do not sponsor international candidates, 1Y is not for me.
4. Re-applicant.
