bb - I think you could easily rename the column to say School / Forum link.

It seems useful to me.

* What are your thoughts about the concept and implementation?
Concept - A very helpful 'first glance' about all the schools : Extremely helpful for students looking into all the schools around the world and not just the US.
Implementation - I guess the content is just sufficient. Like others have mentioned - some restructuring might help.

* Any info missing/should be removed?
The finaid column - I presume the number represented is the percentage of students offered financial aid. Might be helpful if this is made explicit.
Another helpful column would be the top 'career path' at each school.

* Should we continue investing effort into building it up or the current threads and format serve us fine?
I think this is an international b-school 'dashboard' - that'll link to further details about each school. So building this list up would mean adding more schools. How many - I donno may be the top 20 ?

bb,

we could use both methods - the method you propose is a quick snapshot ( and archive for future generations) and can be linked from the front page.

So my suggestion is to copy paste this as a reply to the pants pooping thread and link it to the front page.

Sure!

You got it. I think the poster in the International MBA forum had an idea to have a "dashboard" page (that forum does not have a pants pooping thread - I believe those pesky europeans use bathrooms).

This provides a reference for the "old guys" to look up deadlines and other information that may not be available on a single page anywhere and also a good starting page for "new guys". Whatever you guys feel is relevant.

I like the idea. It would be useful keeping all the linkss and info in one thread.

Anyway, what I want to propose is to exclude "The Economist" from the rankings average. Not just for putting Wharton in the 17th position (although this is the main reason for my proposition  ), but also for putting HBS in 12th, INSEAD 19th, MIT 18th, Kellogg 16th and so on... From what I've seen, they can't be considered serious rankings. Although there si no such thing as a flawless rankings, this one is really too much.

HI mates,

I see this idea very, very useful… almost priceless :)

However, I’d add to the GMAT average, the GMAT rate of the 80% of the people. Something like: “Kellogg has no minimum requirements for the GMAT. The average GMAT for enrolled students is 708, with approximately 70 percent of our enrolled students scoring between 650 and 740.”

Congrats for the idea

Regards

EDITED

My rate to this idea: 5
