True or False? Can you get into consulting (Maybe PwC, Accenture, BCG, Deloitte) with an PT/Professional MBA with rigorous work experience?
I don't think the firms you mentioned actively recruit at PT/Professional b-school campuses, but you can always apply on your own. In theory, on paper an MBA should be an MBA. However, consulting firms definitely recognize the "brand name" schools. If I had to guess, you'd still come in at the traditional MBA level with a PT/Professional MBA (for example, consultant instead of analyst). Now if you apply without an MBA
and without consulting experience, you'd start as an analyst. Still, you could easily be promoted in a year or two. I know guys with PhDs who had to bite the bullet and join as an analyst, but they were promoted fairly quickly.
