Hi all,
In August last year I tried the GMAT for the first time and the Quant section results were quite unsatisfying....
The enhanced score report says:
Problem Solving: 48
Data Sufficiency: 36
Algebra: 48
Arithmetic: 39
The first reaction would be: ok, I gotta focus on Arithmetic! But let's compare the results with my practice GMAT exams (GMATprep)
Problem Solving: 46-47-47-47-47-44
Data Sufficiency: 48-47-48-48-49
Arithmetic: 47-47-48-47-49
Algebra: 46-45-43-48-42
I really don't get it, these results (all first time attempts) indicate that I need to focus on Algebra.
Also consider this:
Don't wanna overuse this phrase, but seriously WTF?
Bottom Line: What would be the most rewarding strategy to improve my Quant Score?

Hi, First of all comparing your real exam results with mock result wont be fair because none of the mock can give you accurate performance. I know a lot o people scoring 750 in mocks but unable to score even 700 in real exam. I want to know what sources you have used for Quant? The graph shows that you have done more mistakes in first 10 questions. So it means you might have answered easy Data Sufficiency questions wrong and that is why you scored less in Data Sufficiency. Answering easy questions wrong actually do more harm to your average score.
