I have to most respectfully contradict what Mr Lebron23Goat said; practice tests do matter! Given my experience, I can say that reputable practice tests are an excellent predictor of real score. More importantly, practice tests allow you to gain valuable experience that will serve you to avoid many "silly mistakes" on the real test. These "silly mistakes", which are idiosyncratic to the real test, have a truly negative effect on your score. Do as many practice tests (real-test conditions) as you can to gain the endurance necessary to take the real test; this will help your concentration skills and it will help you cope with desperation. Practice tests will also give you confidence and let you know when you are most likely to be ready to achieve your target score.
Regarding your Quant Score drop, well practice makes perfect! Do all problems until you can get them right within 2 minutes (the faster the better) this will help you a lot even though it might just seem like you are memorizing the problems. The Gmat just takes a lot of hard boring work. Practice your weak sections more than your strong ones, but do not forget to constantly practice your strong sections since that is what is more likely to contribute more weight to your total score.

The OP should consider the fact that his or her scores are varying across tests. Put more stock in what the GMATPreps say, and limit the comparisons to within the same group of tests.
