3. Last situational question: Friday, the weekend about to start, you have already made plans for a short trip during the weekend, but the boss gives you work that would require you to work during the weekend what will you do & why?

2. If you you could change anything about yourself, what would it be and why? (written)
3. It’s 4:30pm on a Friday and you’ve made previous plans for the weekend. Your manager requests you to complete last-minute work for Monday morning which will take no more than 6-8 hours. How do you respond and why?

My Kira topics were: 1. If you had a chance to meet the CEO of your dream company in an elevator, how would you convince him to hire you for your dream job? 2. Are you more creative or analytical, please provide an example for the same in support of your answer. 3. What is the hardest you have worked to achieve a goal? Did you achieve it? Describe how you felt afterwards.

The kira questions were behavioural with a focus on team working.
1. Tell me a time you have to work with someone with a different personality.
2. Tell me about a time when you have more responsibilities than you can handle.
3. Written- if you had one chance to change a thing about yourself, what would it be?

Hi Everyone,

Greetings!

I submitted my application to Queen's (including the video essays) and have received an interview invite for 13th April 2021.

However, I have admits (with scholarships) having a decision deadline between 19th April to 23rd April 2021. Is there any possibility that I might get to hear about my final admissions decision at Queen's prior to the above-mentioned timeline?

Kindly request everyone, especially the admitted candidates, to share their own admissions timeline and views on the same.

Hi,

Congrats on getting to the interview stage & I wish you all the best for the same.

I got my decision within 7 days after my interview. I believe in your case, since you already have admits with deadlines fast approaching, you should approach the admission team regarding the same. I guess they would mostly accommodate your request.

I agree with abvit19 You should definitely reach out to the admissions committee and let them know of your decision deadlines so they can expedite your application processing maybe.

I don't think you should wait till the interview to let them know since you are dealing with April 19 deadline. I would suggest you let the admissions committee know about it soon but it is not going to change your interview date or anything. Maybe they can expedite the processing post interview :)

Please beware that Bschools usually give an extension of 2 weeks to your due date written on your offer, upon request. Best of luck.

Actually, the deadlines that I have mentioned above in my post are the extended versions of the deadlines that were mentioned on my offer letter from each of the respective schools. :P

The Kira Assessment questions I got were based on personality and behaviour.

1. Who is the most influential person in your life? How did he/she influence you?

2. Written - Would you describe yourself as creative or analytical? Please provide an example to support your answer.

3. How do you cope with stressful situations? Describe a recent stressful situation and how you coped with it.
