Beware of an MBA from Queen’s or Canada in general. This program is a lot of buzz words with a near 100% acceptance rate and a fake post graduation employment report which doesn’t even include a median salary like other business schools. Since the batch is small they include an avg salary which can be manipulated easily by one person saying they made a million dollars on graduation working for daddy’s business. 5-10% of the class mostly white women will receive any sort of joining bonus even though the wording makes it seem something different . The ROI on this is horrible unless you are a white person with connections and even then it’s not worth it. I would highly recommend not doing this if you still have time. It’s not worth spending 70-80 lakhs on this at all. You will face a lot of racism as soon as you graduate in the job market. There a lot of useless events and a lot of fluff with this MBA but at the end of day spending 80 lakhs on this program is absurd. Again this is not some highly selective program regardless of the marketing campaigns they run and it has close to a 100% acceptance rate. Just letting you know if you have an option to do an MBA from a reputed place back home then stay home. The racism, the micro aggressions and the job market along with the housing market makes Canada not a good place to come and Queens specifically is not a good university. Just beware and be smart. My two cents and trying to be helpful coz you guys may not know the situation here. Don’t enrich these ppl while they are being racist. They hate brown ppl and while that may not be true for everyone it is true for a vast majority of white Canadians. Sure they will smile while taking your money but beware
