Hi all, I have a query related to my GMAT scores from a retest.
I already submitted my GMAT scores to few B-schools last year. Can someone tell whether in case of a retest, I need to pay and request GMAC to submit the scores to those B-schools again?

A fresh attempt comes with some free score reports, though, so you won't have to "pay" necessarily.

Might be worth checking.

Hi AlexSgmat,

Even though the score is going to a school you've already sent your score to, the process does not change.

If you send your score immediately following your GMAT, you can send it for free. Otherwise, yes, you'd have to pay the fee to send the score at a later date.

Hi Anubhav,

With each GMAT attempt, you have to decide which Schools will receive that Score (and you can certainly choose for no Schools to receive it). Depending on how you go about taking (or re-taking) the Official GMAT, you could potentially send your Score for free (or pay a per-School fee later on).

We last discussed your studies almost a year ago. Have you recently restarted studying?

Thank you GMAT experts for your quick replies. Your answers have cleared my doubt.

Hi Rich,

Thank you for your reply as well.
Yes we discussed last year regarding my GMAT ESR Evaluation.
I scored 700 in a later attempt last year. I am now planning to retake the GMAT to improve my score further.

Hi Anubhav,

That's fantastic news! A 700 is a great improvement over your prior 640 - and that Score may be enough to get you into the Schools that you plan to apply to. What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for that 2nd attempt? And what are your current application plans?

Hi Rich,

Thanks again.

I scored Quant 49 and Verbal 35 in the previous attempt.

I am targeting Round 1 application deadlines this year. So I am planning to give another GMAT attempt to improve my score further.
