LuizAngioletti
Hi!
On the application form for ESMT there are two options that look to me as equivalent:
"Recommendations" and "References".
Are they equivalent? "References" is marked with a green dot, implying it is optional.
If they are not equivalent, how should I interpret them?
LuizAngioletti,
The Recommendations and References tab serve the same purpose.
However, there is a stark difference -
Recommendations:
If you have a pre-written letter of recommendation( LoR ) from the employer or Professor on letterhead, then utilise the Recommendations-tab to upload the letter of recommendation
References:
If you do NOT have a pre-written letter of recommendation( LoR ) from the employer or Professor on letterhead, then utilise the References-tab to initiate an e-mail to the reference address for a set of questions that would act as a letter of recommendation
Last but not least - Are they equivalent? "References" is marked with a green dot, implying it is optional.
A green dot is NOT implying it is optional - it implies that you have
filled all the
OTHER mandatory details on that respective-tab.
PS: Post your questions on this page -
ESMT Jan 2021I am sure some applicants would be on a similar page and would benefit greatly from this discussion.
