Hi! I applied to Rotman's MFRM program and was interviewed. They told us that the final decision would be informed by mid Jan. My interview was on Dec 16 and I still have not heard from them.(Its Jan 14 today).
I am wondering do they even send out rejection emails? If I were selected, wouldn't i have received an email by now, especially considering that Rotman is quite fast in processing applications? Should I consider myself rejected or should I wait till I get the formal rejection letter?

You should definitely wait for the mail because they do send mails if rejected. You can check spam mails once but it is unlikely to be there. So just wait for the mail and don’t consider rejected till then.
"Mid-January" is a bit ambiguous. They could easily let you know next week and still be accurate with their estimate time for a decision.
You can also call the admissions office and ask. They may not be able to provide you with an update on your profile, per se, but they may have hints that can grant you a peace of mind.
Hi. Sorry, I could not reply earlier. Yes I did receive an admission offer from them around the end of January. It is a conditional offer though, since I did not have finance courses in my undergrad. I still have to do 2 prerequisite courses!
