I just took the Gmat and got a 680 (Q49,V34) as you can see, but don´t know whether to retake it or not. I also took the Toefl because I´m from Mexico and got a 109. I´ve heard that for foreign students Quant gets more attention than the overall score, and they tend to look at it in conjunction with the Toefl. The schools that interest me are Yale, Chicago, Wharton, MIT and Harvard. A little bit of background is that I´m 25 years old, have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and Masters Degree in Marketing and Brand Management, and have been working in Nielsen for 3 years. Thinking to apply next fall, should I retake the Gmat?

Hi Jorge,
First off, a 680/Q49 is a strong score (it's right around the 85th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into one of the Schools that you've listed. Since you've listed a number of competitive Schools though, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

I think first off, you should get a full free profile evaluation done by our experts here: https://www.gmatclub.com/forum/veritas-prep-resource-links-no-longer-available-399979.html#-school/
680 is an acceptable score though lower than the average scores of these schools. So you need to discuss the relative strength of your entire profile and that will give you a better idea about whether retake is required.
