Greeting everyone!
I took the gmat a year ago and scored 710. I could have done better but there were some issues in the test centre (markers not working, had no spectacles, etc).
I decided not to go for a retake last year because I didn't have much time and my first job was about to start in about 2-3 weeks.
I got into HEC Paris for it's MSc Strategic management program but now with the covid thing it seems that I might choose not to go this year. In that case, I will be applying for MiM programs for the next year.
I have started learning French and work at KPMG as an audit analyst. I will have approximately 2 years of experience at the time of commencement of the program. I could not include this info in my application last year because I had just started working so there was not much to talk about. So, I would assume these will only add to my profile.
Since I already have an above average GMAT score, I am under no pressure and I believe that as a result I could perform better (and even if i don't that it would be fine, right?).
I have approx 3 months to prepare which I think should be more than enough but I will have to put in time after long working hours.
For more context - my target schools are LBS, HEC, INSEAD, WHU, Mannheim, ESSEC (All for MiM) and ISB (PGP)
So the question that I am struggling with is -
should I go for a retake?Any and all inputs are highly appreciated!
