Not trying to hijack this thread...just wondering if anyone else has to choose between tuck and ross... The schools are fairly similar- I feel like it's a pretty tough decision. Thoughts?

I'm still waiting for mine. I wonder if they send tracking details for the admit pack when they ship it out.

What do you get in the package? Do you also receive a flag? Mine includes only letter and the congratulations card.

Financial Aid Question:

Trying to sort through this stuff and it seems different schools do things differently. Is it accurate that Ross doesn't give out any need based aid? Meaning that the only scholarships/grants are awarded with the offer letter, and loans are the only thing to be awarded through financial aid?

It seems like some schools offer need based grants after you turn in the FAFSA, but Ross doesn't? Just trying to estimate costs for the year.

Is there a facebook group for Ross MBA admitted students? the letter only shows a Google groups one but was hoping for the former since I'm more active in Facebook.

P.S. Any idea what is the range difference between $, $$, & $$$?

I guess I'm just blind but where did you find the aforementioned google group? Which letter exactly? Somehow I missed it.

Hey guys,
First of all, congrats to all admitted candidates :) I have a question a little question, under the "Admitted Student Guide" they talk about an English for Business Studies (EBS) Course that lasts 5 weeks. It says that not all students have to take it, only a part of the international students need it and that it will be said in the official acceptance letter whether we need to take it or not. Did anyone saw that he's being requested to take the course? It's a 5 weeks course that starts on July 1st.

My letter bears no instruction regarding the English course, so I'll take it that I just need to join for that accountancy waiver class which I think begins from Aug 05.

To piggy back off this question, can anybody clarify when you're supposed to turn in the FAFSA? Should you wait to fill it out until after you've accepted the offer? Do you fill it out for each school? Do you fill it out ASAP?
