I gave my GMAT FE yesterday and got an unofficial score of 685.
24 hours after the exam, I got a email stating that my test is undergoing a routine security review that may take up to 20 business days.
The mail did mention this: Please note that this is part of normal business and assessment operations at the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and helps to ensure the quality and the validity of our exams. In order for us to complete exam reviews in a timely manner, we ask that you wait 20 business days from your exam date before requesting an update.
But is this just normal protocol?
This is my third attempt at giving the GMAT FE online in the same conditions and I've not had a security review in the first two.
Can anyone shed light on my situation?

Hi shiv23,
Such reviews are generally routine, and most genuine test takers should be fine. As for your earlier tests, they may not have been reviewed because your scores were lower.

Hi. Yes, this is a very much normal protocol.
During the test, you are recorded on camera and then A.I. review the recording and if it has some questions or flag something, human needs to review the recording. It may take some time for them to review all the spots and get to it so they give themselves the generous 20 days. Most of the reviews and I would say 99%, just based on the lack of complaints are routine and don’t result into cancellations.
