Hi,
I am very confused between RSM MScBA and EDHEC MIM. In RSM, I won't be able to go for a long internship since it is a 12-month course. I can pursue an internship post my graduation and maybe convert it to a job later. However, the ROI is very good and it is in an English speaking country.
EDHEC, however, is a long 3-year course but slightly expensive. But will give me enough opportunities to find and work on an internship for a year. It is not in Paris so I am not sure about the opportunities. I want to pursue a future in marketing management. Again, a french country so language might be a constraint.
Can anyone help me with this? I have been in this quandary for quite some time now and can't make up my mind.
Also if anyone can help me with placement stats (average package, etc) that would be grateful. Thank you.
Hey
Zaidf123, you have listed down a lot of pros and cons yourself

Well, when it comes to Netherlands, RSM is the best brand out there - But again the MSBA is a specialized masters program so this would make sense only if you are sure of working in analytics in the log term.
EDHEC is more of a good brand for its finance programs/finance track for MiM, and while it is a solid school the brand is lower than ESCP-ESSEC. Secondly, EDHEC has multiple campuses including one in Paris so you should have access to a strong corporate network. Even if we are talking about the Lille Campus - It is not as well connected as Paris, but the location is not a major disadvantage as such. There are a lot of retail/branding companies head-quartered in Lille so if you are up for learning French, it should not be major disadvantage as such.
The average weighted salary (3 year average) post an EDHEC MiM is around 68k Euros, while the average starting salary for RSM MSc programs is estimated to be approximately 35K.
So you can make a decision based on which industry you want to work in (Analytics v/s management) and whether or not you are up for learning a new language.
I am sharing the school reviews of both RSM and EDHEC, might help you clear your head
