Would suggest trying a couple of more tests to know if it was just a lucky day or some improvement actually happened.

There could be multiple reasons for better performance in GMATClub Mock:
1. The improvement could have been because you were not as anxious as you would have been while taking the official mock
2. It could be the case your ability to solve MSR boosted your confidence and you were able to solve the other questions correctly
3. it could be that the Q set you received happened to be from topics of your strength. Just a handful of questions is not a good assessment unless you can sustain it over a good number of tests

Hope this helps!

Score Jump in 2 Days – GMAT Official Mock (535) vs GMAT Club Free Mock (655)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask one thing.
Two days ago, I took an MBA-com Official GMAT Mock and scored 535. I’ll admit — I completely bombed the MSR section and went down the rabbit hole, which messed up the rest of DI and VA as well.

After that, I picked up some MSR theory and solved around 10–20 MSR + TPA questions for practice.

Today, I took the GMAT Club Free Mock Test and got a 655 predicted score.

My question:
Is such a jump actually possible, or is one of the tests misleading? I was definitely more composed during the GMAT Club mock, but I’m not sure if that alone can make such a big difference.

Would appreciate any insights from members who’ve experienced something similar!

Yes, I think so too! As the biggest increase was in DI from 68 percentile in Official Mock to 83 percentile in this one. In rest 2 sections the improvement was around 2-5 percentile only.
But, I wanted to know, is GMAT Club Mock's questions comparable to the real exam, like the official mocks?

I don't have DI specific insights, may be someone else can help. I know Quant is on the difficult side as compared to official mocks and Verbal is comparable.
