Hey Guys,

As per the notification from GMAC, tests taken after 19th July will not feature the Cancelled Scores (C) on the score card, I took my test few days back, but to my shock, the test which I took in Feb and cancelled is also featured on the score card of my second attempt. The notification explicitly states that the cancelled scores of the tests prior to 19th July will also be excluded from the score sheet. Can anybody clear my query? Or is it that the score card given to us features the cancelled scores and scores sent to the schools mentions only the fresh attempt. Can anybody explain? I am freaking out here!!

Here you go:

Why do I still see the cancelled scores when I access my score report?
To ensure that test takers have an accurate record of their GMAT exam history, you will still see all your GMAT exams on your record, including cancelled scores. However, cancelled scores will not be displayed on the version of score reports sent to schools.

Also, the report sheet sent out to the school will have all your valid score, i.e. scores that you have not cancelled.

Hi ConquertheGMAT,

As ankurgupta03 has already pointed out, you don't have to worry about anyone seeing that you cancelled a score (and to be fair, most Business Schools would not actually care). Having the information about your total attempts/cancellations IS important for you though, since you're allowed only 5 attempts at the GMAT in a rolling-year period. Having a record of when you took your GMAT(s) and your results can help you to more strategically plan out any latter attempts that you might take.

After completing all the sections in the exam, score is presented on the screen. we may cancel or reject the score.

if cancelled, Could anyone please confirm that this attempt is counted as one of the 5 attempts allowed in one year, or not?
