Hello Experts!
Today (04/09/2019), I took GMAT Exam and scored 610 (Q48, V27).
Following is the plan that I followed over the last 6-7 months of my preparation.
1. Started with
Manhattan Prep for Basics (All topics).
2. Did
OG Questions.
3. Took Mock Tests from "
Expert Global" and also studied Sentence Correction from
Expert Global Series and Aristotle SC.
My score went from 500s to 720 (in
Expert Global Mock Tests - Total 15). Consistently, in last 5 mocks from
Expert Global and One free Mock from KAPLAN, I scored in the range of 700 and 720.
Although I was lacking in RC and hard CR questions, I was pretty confident that I could score, at least, 670+ in official GMAT prep mocks.
However, when I took GMAT PREP Mocks (all six), I found my self scoring from 600 (least) to 650(Max) and these results pretty much lowered my confidence. In every GMAT PREP Mock my verbal score was below V3O and quants score was either Q48 or Q49. Still, I went for the exam today and as you can see, the Average GMAT PREP Score is clearly reflecting in my official GMAT Score.
Now, some of my friends and known associates are recommending me to join a personal coaching at least for Verbal Part. Honestly, I'm skeptical about this idea and little bit confused about How to proceed further.
Also, I'm targeting for 720 and planning to retake the test in early November, 2019.
Looking forward to know your advise on this. (Also, I'll be getting Enhanced Score Card in few Days, will share that as well)
Thank you in advance
