Hi everyone!
Last year, I took GMAT Focus twice - in September and January. Both times, I received a final score of 655 (91th perc). However, there were differences in the scores for different sections.
At the same time, I am planning to take the exam again in three weeks, as I need to achieve a score of at least 685-695. Therefore, I need your assistance with a strategy to help me get off to a good start and ensure that I consistently achieve the desired score on the exam.
Could you please look on my results and provide me with some advice on how to approach the exam? And what points do I need to consistently write samples for to be sure that I score enough on the exam?
1 try: Q83 V81 DI84 (it`s 80/66/97 percentile)
2 try: Q85 V78 DI84 (it`s 88/38/97 percentile)

In the first test there was mistake in first question which must have dropped the score in Quant. Infact quant is heavily penalized even for a single or 2 mistakes. However in 2nd attempt I see that has been improved.
The Verbal could have been improved if RC is paid attention and identifying main idea seems to be a weak point.
DI is great in your part though. Seems like issue with time management in the second attempt which led to last 2 mistakes.

One thing that may help a bit is including working with a study buddy. Someone, for example, who is really strong on Verbal and needs help with DI could be a good fit. Including/sharing which types of questions or issues (e.g. time management) you feel are holding you back could also be helpful.
