I would like to take your suggestions whether time taken as per below has any faullt?
1-10 question: Time taken ( 65 minutes- 47-44 minutes)- atleast has 1 RC ; mistakes 1-3 on an average 11-20 question: Time taken( 45 minutes - 30/25 minutes ) - atleast 1 RC- mistakes 1-3 on average 21-30 question: Time taken ( 28 minutes- 10 minutes) - atleast 1 RC - mistakes 1-3 on average 31-36 question: Time taken ( 10 minutes - 0/2 minutes)- atleast 1 RC - mistakes 1-3 on average
Current Scores : 28-33V
If i try to take more time in some questions then end up in missing last 2-3 questions ( have to guess in quick flow)
please suggest : 1. How to improve time management? Current strategy is right? 2. Should i try to spend more time in beginning ( 1-20) if stuck on some CR question in order to make it correct? 3. I heard mistakes even at V39-V4x could be 8-9 wrong , but those students get difficult question ( higher weightage ) questions hence stay in that level of score.
What can I do more to cross V35 ?
Thanks in advance!

Hi imSKR,
It's okay to spend more than 2 minutes on a few questions. But you have to make sure that you get it right. There's no point in spending 4 or 5 minutes on a questions and ultimately getting it wrong or guessing it. So, you need to identify if you can solve a particular question under 2 minutes or if you wish to spend more than 2 minutes, you need to be sure of getting it right.
How to improve your timing?
Struggling with time is just a symptom. The actual problem lies somewhere else. If you are not able to solve a particular question under optimum time, then it means that you are not using the right methodology. For example, while solving CR questions, you might be getting stuck between two answer choices or you might be jumping directly into answer choices after reading the question stem.
The right methodology to solve CR questions is to pre-think the assumption before umping into solutions. There is a certain framework for most of the CR questions. Once you understand that framework, you can pre-think the assumption with ease. It is also important to identify the premises and conclusion after reading the argument. This process will help you understand the scope of the passage and eliminate answer choices which are out of scope or irrelevant.
Hope it helped! I suggest you to work on improving your methodology. Once you learn the methodology and practice it on a few questions, then time will automatically fall into place. Feel free to get in touch if you have any more queries.
I think too much focused on time management. With more reps you will get faster and reduce the need to rely on the more "blunt" time management. Time management is important but more when you have a solid base.
