As previous posters have already mentioned, the Manhattan SC guide is essential. I recommend reading it at least twice - perhaps even three times - in order to have a strong foundation. Another method is to not be passive about question practice. In other words, don't just read the question stem, choose an answer, check it, and then move on. Fully read every explanation, even for the questions that you answered correctly. Another good tool is to adopt an active role on the verbal forums. Answer questions there and defend you choice in detail.

And, of course, do something related to SC everyday!

Has been said almost \(10^6\) times. Let me say it one more time: Manhattan GMAT SC! If that doesn't do for you, try supplementing it with Aristotle SC grail.

If everything fails, join a good coaching class. It might help you "open the knot" in your head, as it happened in my case. SC is not all that difficult you know.. its pretty rule based. Having said that, you do require to see all the different types of SC questions tested on the GMAT and the best places to find them are the official guides.
