Hey there,
Well I would suggest you start by looking at the Financial Times Global MBA rankings, as that is where you will find the ranked schools in Germany the Netherlands, and everywhere else. I should mention in passing that school is not cheaper in Germany really than it is in Canada, so I'm not sure why that should make a difference. But rather you can and should choose schools based on your goals - personal as well as professional. (Plus it also makes good sense to apply to somewhere in a country you want to live in after!).

Other than that your general rule of thumb will be that you will be competitive in schools about which your GMAT is 30 points above the average. So that's the point where I would start.

I hope you find this to be helpful!

I have a few schools in mind from Ireland like UCD smurfit, ESMt Berlin, Nanyang business school , NUS Singapore, Rotterdam School of management netherlands . How is my profile for all of these 1 year courses.

I do not have clear idea on canadian schools(please suggest some).

Also with respect to my profile where do you think I could get scholarships?

Well with a 700 those are all good places to start Meaning your list is solid. For Canadian schools look at:
Rotman
Ivery
Schulich
Smith
York
McGill
Sauder

Those are more or less, the best known B-schools.

Thanks Jon for the inputs. Much needed .

But I am not sure of on 1 year management or 2 year courses. I am from a technical side but I am also planning to switch careers. Will one year courses help in this?

Also what if I score 730 , do I stand chances for scholarships in canada or singapore(NUS and Nanyang).

Hey,
Well to be honest, if you intend to switch industries usually a 2-year program will make that easier for you given the time and the opportunities to do internships. So given your goals it does make a bit more sense.

If you get a 730 you're good to try anywhere in Canada or Asia.

Best,
JF
