Hey Everyone!
I’m planning to apply for R2, but getting cold feet.
My background-
Indian male with a degree in engineering.
I’ve worked for a year at my mid sized chemical manufacturing family business, where I led operations and procurement. Post that, I’ve been working as a consultant for 2 years at a tier 2 management consulting firm.
I have decent international experience working on projects and a couple of awards.
I have a led a club at college and have volunteered regularly over the last 4 years for leading NGO’s along with good sports credentials. Overall, I believe that I have strong EC’s.
What I’m worried about is my GMAT and GPA, which are 710 and 3.1 respectively.
The schools I’m applying to are- Anderson, Stern, Cornell, Ross, McCombs, UNC and Darden.
I’m done with my essays (which I believe have come out well) and other parts of the applications as well.
But I’m worried that my GMAT would harm my application, and don’t have enough time to retake the test.
Would like to hear your advice on whether the schools I’m applying to are achievable, schools you would suggest I rather apply to or should I not apply this year at all?
Thanks,
Amey
