Hi friends,

need a little advice. That was my score from a test recently. Should I retake the GMAT again? I have already done it once.
I am applying to Wharton, INSEAD, Stern, LBS and Columbia.

GPA 3.8
WE: 4.7yrs Total of which 3.7 yrs in top-tier investment bank.

For the schools you are applying to, a 7 handle sure would be nice. Are you applying for Fall 2011 or 2012? If 2012 so you should have time to give it another shot plus work on ECs, essays.

Hi there,

tks for the reply. Applied for fall 2011. But was thinking GMAT was in the ballpark of these schools tot I might have a chance if balanced out with strong essays, recos and gpa.

Hoping to retake before the admissions decisions and send them an updated score.

Your score is pretty solid and should be enough for you to stand a chance at the top universities, given your profile. Right now, focus on the rest of your application. That's the most important thing at the moment.

thanks for the encouraging reply. I have submitted for 3 schools in round 2. Hopefully I will at least get an interview with my essays.
