Dear GMAT Club Community,
I am writing to you on behalf of myself, regarding whether or not I should undergo the GMAT test and a MSc degree.
About myself, my undergraduate degree, extracurricular activities and work experience
I can start by introducing myself,
I am 19 years old, and recently graduated with a BSc degree in Finance/Business Administration at BI Norwegian Business School. My cumulative GPA from my Bachelor's degree
is A blank (4.00/4.00). If you are wondering why I have a BSc degree at such a young age, the answer is that I took 180 ECTS points (which corresponds to 3-year bachelor's course) in only one year.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked as as an investment banking intern for the biggest bank in Norway, and also as a junior analyst for Kapital (equivalent to Forbes).
Currently, I am a Private Equity intern at Blackstone Group in London, which is something I did not expect at all.
Should I take the GMAT or not?
The problem arises here; although I have a good amount of work experience, I really miss studying. I am probably not gonna need a MSc or a MBA to continue my journey in the finance industry for the time being. On the other side, something inside me tells me that when time surpasses, I will regret not spending the start of my 20s at an academic arena.
Hence, my questions are:
1. Do you have inputs on whether or not I should take the GMAT, and apply for a business school abroad? My work capacity is enormous, so I can easily study a couple of weeks/month to prepare.
2. What business schools (preferably in Europe) have deadline in April?
3. If I choose not to matriculate in a Masters programme in Finance, will I regret it in the future?
