Does GMATClub mocks consider the last question to have been left unanswered when the option is selected but the timer runs out? There have been instances where I have selected the last answer but the timer ran out before I could end section and in the review I see one question less than the total number of questions.
Hi. On the GMAT, if you did not submit the question (you clicked the answer choice but did not click submit and confirm), it is considered that you did not answer it. The same may even happen (very rarely) if you change your answer from one to another during the review, and then don't have a chance to submit it and even in that case, you may have one question labeled as unanswered E.g. #15. This happened to one person I learned.
Similarly, If you did not submit the question, we do not consider it taken and it is considered that you left one question unanswered.
The same behavior is on the GMAT Prep and the official GMAT (GMAT Prep, however, may show you questions you did not attempt but GMAT Club saves them for other tests)
