Hi,
Is the following sentence grammatically correct?
I strongly recommend watching the khan academy videos if the sight of coin & dice questions makes you quiver, like it did for me.Should it be "make" or "makes" - and I'm also struggling with the last part "like it did for me".
Btw, if you're wondering what the context of this statement is, the thought came to mind when I was posting a response in the quan forum (58357).
Thanks!
Hi
I think its ok, but again I'm really not great with SC
for makes : the noun in front of the verb is Questions => Plural => makes is correct
Like it did for me => IDK just feels weird
Sentence could be
If the sight of coin & dice questions makes you quiver, like they did for me, watch khan academy videos ( maybe better)
I hope it helps
