Simplify $$(4^y+4^y+4^y+4^y)(3^y+3^y+3^y)$$

(A) $$4^4y∗3^3y$$
(B) $$12^{y+1}$$
(C) $$16^y+9^y$$
(D) $$12^y$$
(E) $$4^y∗12^y$$

$$(4^y+4^y+4^y+4^y)(3^y+3^y+3^y)$$ = $$(4^y.4)(3^y.3)$$
$$(4^{y+1}).(3^{y+1})$$
$$(12^{y+1}$$

Put y = 0

$$(4^y + 4^y + 4^y + 4^y)(3^y + 3^y + 3^y) = (1 + 1 + 1 + 1)(1 + 1 + 1) = 4*3 = 12$$

Of the options, y = 0 gives 12 for option (B) only.
