Simplify \((4^y+4^y+4^y+4^y)(3^y+3^y+3^y)\)

(A) \(4^4y∗3^3y\)
(B) \(12^{y+1}\)
(C) \(16^y+9^y\)
(D) \(12^y\)
(E) \(4^y∗12^y\)

\((4^y+4^y+4^y+4^y)(3^y+3^y+3^y)\) = \((4^y.4)(3^y.3)\)
\((4^{y+1}).(3^{y+1})\)
\((12^{y+1}\)

Answer B.

Put y = 0

\((4^y + 4^y + 4^y + 4^y)(3^y + 3^y + 3^y) = (1 + 1 + 1 + 1)(1 + 1 + 1) = 4*3 = 12\)

Of the options, y = 0 gives 12 for option (B) only.

4^y(1+1+1+1) * 3^y (1+1+1)

12^y+1 ;)
